Bicycle Fitting

 PROPER BICYCLE FITTING

  • Shoulders relaxed
  • Elbows bent
  • Pelvis rotated forward
  • Flat back
  • Little bend in knee
  • Foot flat at bottom of stroke
  • Small gap between knee & elbow
  • Knee over ball of foot when crank arm is in the 9 o’clock position
 

 IMPROPER BICYCLE FITTING

  • Saddle too high - leg is fully extended and toe is pointed down at bottom of the stroke
 
  • Saddle too low and too far forward causing the back to hunch
